Fit-up Inspection Guide for ATM Tank

This guide is used for the purchaser's inspection. ITP Step 2.1 Edge Preparation & Fit-up Inspection Please perform the visual and dimension inspection as per the applicable WPS which is placed at the fabrication shop (not in the office) for the check of material thickness, groove angle or bevel angle, root gap, tack weld condition and filler metal specification. Also, the storage method of the filler metal shall be checked. Please verify the welder IDs with the the welder list. The fabrication shop overview to be fabricated our tanks, welding machine condition, shield- gas gauge shall be reported with the evidence photos. Please identify the material specification with the permanent or temporary marking on the main materials. The heat numbers shall be matched between the materials and the material certificates. (End)

STD-ITP-0001_Standard ITP

Third Party Inspection (TPI), Vendor Inspection and Shop Inspection are carried out in accordance with the inspection and test plan (ITP). Basically, ITP is written by the manufacturer QC engineer. The ITP is submitted to the purchaser for the purchaser's review or approval.
