(Rev.1) Package Leak Test Standard
1. Scope & Objective Many piping systems integrated into rotating machinery or equipment packages require a leak test during or after assembly to ensure structural integrity and tight sealing. To ensure the complete tightness of multiple mechanical joints (such as instrument fittings, valves, and flanges) and to protect sensitive package components from moisture contamination, a Sensitive Leak Test (Bubble Test) shall be performed as a standard examination. 2.
